Beginning November 28th:
As the weather grows colder the kindergarten arrival procedure will soon change. We will start our new arrival procedure on November 28th and continue through the winter months until the warm weather returns.
Please plan to say goodbye to your child outside at the door on Mountain Ave. Students will be greeted at these doors by the 5th grade safety patrol and will then make their way down the kindergarten hallway independently, where their teachers will meet them. The plan is put into place each year to help promote student independence as well as offer an alternative to waiting outside on cold mornings or during inclement weather.
While the arrival procedure will change, the arrival time will remain the same, 8:10am. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
