It all started back in 2011 where I began my teaching career in Waltham as a Pre-Kindergarten Paraprofessional in an Intensive Needs classroom. During this time, I was attending Lesley University to earn my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After working as a paraprofessional for two years, I moved into a Grade 1 Inclusion classroom while completing my student teaching. In December 2013, I completed my Master’s degree and went back to assisting in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom to finish out the school year. The summer of 2014, I was given the opportunity to join the Stratton team as a Kindergarten teacher and that's how I got where I am!
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mark and our little Chihuahua, Junior. I also enjoy teaching and participating in dance and Zumba classes.
I am so excited to continue my work in the Arlington community and I look forward to spending the year with your child!
