Bat Loves the Night!

Nicola Davies, author of Bat Loves the Night, came to read her book today!
"Night has fallen, and Bat awakens to find her evening meal. Follow her as she swoops into the shadows, shouting and flying, the echoes of her voice creating a sound picture of the world around her. When morning light creeps into the sky, Bat returns to the roost to feed her baby . . . and to rest until nighttime comes again. Bat loves the night!"

In these pictures you can see the students taking care of and riding the horses during the medieval times.

The students are pretending to be the king, queen, servants, jesters, and minstrels during a royal feast!

The students are pretending to be glassmakers and are making stained glass.

Next week we will be continuing with the feast and continuing our science experiment with catapults.

We are in desperate need of large pieces of cardboard or cardboard boxes. Our props require us to use a lot of cardboard and we are running very low. Any extra cardboard you may have would be greatly appreciated.
