Japanese Tea Ceremony

Today, we had a Japanese tea ceremony right in our classroom.

The first rule before entering the tea house is to wash your hands...

Rule #2: Take off your shoes...

Rule #3: Be silent and leave all of your worries at the door. Also, do not touch the tea materials.

Before we get our tea (water) from the host, we must bow in order to show respect and thanks...

Time for tea!! We drank it very slowly because we know that real tea would be very hot!
Don't forget to ask your child about the tea ceremony and all of the rules!

Have a great weekend and GO PATS!!!
