Halloween in K-1

Today we had our annual Halloween parade. The K-1 students paraded around the school in their costumes for all to see!

We also enjoyed a special mystery snack...yum!!!

We had so much fun with our Halloween crafts...

Medieval Times: Prop Making

Today, we began making props for our three-week unit on the medieval times. Students created chains for the drawbridge, bricks for the castle, and we even made our own Magic Tree House for Jack and Annie!

 

 

 

 

 

3rd Grade Book Buddies

On Friday, the K-1 class met with their third grade book buddies. Students will meet with their book buddies once or twice a month to read to one another and/or play games or activities. Ask your child about it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Counting Books

Yesterday, the K-1 class read Anno's Counting Book and talked with their study buddy about what they saw and noticed in each picture. 

Today, the K-1 students began to create their own counting books for the numbers 0-6. Ask your child about it!
