About Mrs. Nolan

My name is Mrs. Ashly Nolan and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. This is my sixth year in Arlington and I could not be more excited for another year at Stratton! This blog will be one of the many outlets you can look to for information about what's going on in our classroom throughout the school year.

It all started back in 2011 where I began my teaching career in Waltham as a Pre-Kindergarten Paraprofessional in an Intensive Needs classroom. During this time, I was attending Lesley University to earn my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After working as a paraprofessional for two years, I moved into a Grade 1 Inclusion classroom while completing my student teaching. In December 2013, I completed my Master’s degree and went back to assisting in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom to finish out the school year. The summer of 2014, I was given the opportunity to join the Stratton team as a Kindergarten teacher and that's how I got where I am!

When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mark, daughter Brielle, and our little Chihuahua, Junior. I also enjoy participating in dance and Zumba classes, going to the gym, and cooking!

I am so excited to continue my work in the Arlington community and I look forward to spending the year with your child!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Nolan
